Facebook.com

I am so addicted to Facebook these days! I cant believe it has become so 'in' with the crowd these days. No matter the age or gender, everyone is on it! Its a good way of staying connected.
Facebook is sort of a new social get-together place. Its not that new though, just new in this decade.
Its quite different from twitter and hi5, etc.
Loads of applications from games to quiz applications. Its like a little world of interests in there.
My favorite part is the sharing of pictures and status updates. Plus I love it when I find some long lost friend or out-of-touch relative. It feels so nice to be able to see a part of their life from so far away, after such a long time. Its really a good platform for staying in touch with everyone.
I'm not much interested in meeting new people, but, it really feels nice in staying connected with almost everyone.
Reading everyones status update keeps us informed of their life and updating our life helps us share a part of us with our family and friends.
Although like all things, Facebook also has its downsides. like the privacy options keep changing and usually the default settings almost always share everything openly. And there is no option of being invisible to unwanted people on its chat window, neither can you block someone on the chat. I also do not like the new look of the Home page. i liked the older version better. Plus the mobile application for Facebook is just plain pathetic. I rather use it on the full-site mode.
Even after all this, I'm still addicted. I just have to log in everyday to update my status or upload pics of my recent activity,or, to check on everyone else, or, just for the sake of feeling connected! :)
