Qasim ibn Hasan ibn Ali at Kerbala
Hazrat Qasim was the (3rd whereas some places it says last) son of the 2nd Imam of Islam Hazrat Hasan e mujtaba ibn Ali e Murtaza( may peace be upon them) from Lady Umme Farwa. He was 3 years old at the time of his father's death and it is said that he was 13 ( 16 in other references) when he went to Kerbala with his uncle Hazrat Imam Hussain (A.S).
It is said that Hazrat Qasim was a very beautiful and well build boy. He was trained in combat along with Ali Akber son of Hussain by their uncle Abbas, the well known martyr of Kerbala and the dearest brother of Imam Hussain.
Having a great warrior as his teacher,Qasim himself was excellent with the sword. It is said that the warriors from the Yazeedi army were surprised to see this youth fighting with such skill and spirit, they were taken aback and fled with fear when they saw him in action. But ultimately the fierce soul-less monsters of Iblees killed the handsome youth as soon as he became slow due to thirst and hunger of 3 days and 3 nights.
Qasim called his uncle for help when he fell towards the ground. Imam Hussain and Hazrat Qasim roared like lions and ran ran towards their nephew. Seeing the two Lions in anger the opposing army ran in all directions to avoid contact with them. In this stampede the young boy's body was slaughtered into pieces by the hooves of the horses and camels. Imam Hussain carried these pieces like flowers in his shawl back to the camp and was heart broken.
This was the end of the great Youth called Qasim ibn Al HAsan .
There are a lot of speculations about Hazrat Qasim and his stay in Kerbala. It is said that on the 10th day of Muharam (first month of Hijri Calender) when the grave martyrdom of 72 men of Islam occurred, Qasim being among them , another act also took place; the wedding of Qasim and Qubra bint e Hussain. Some people doubt whether this is a true fact or just a narration.
According to Ayatullah Sayyid Mohammed Saeed al Hakeem 'It has been reported in some history books that Abdullah, the son of Imam Hassan (Peace be upon him) was married to Sukaina, the daughter of Imam Hussain (Peace be upon him) and not Kassim.'
Now it is well known that It was Imam Hasan's wish that one of his son's be wedded to a daughter of his beloved brother Imam Hussain. Some narrators have also quoted that Hazrat Qasim had a taweez tied on his forearm which contained this wish of Hazrat Imam Hasan as a last request along with the request to allow Qasim to represent Hazrat Imam Hasan in Kerbala and give his sacrifice to save Islam. On the other hand other narrators say that Lady Umme Farwa gave this piece of paper with Imam Hasan's request to Hazrat Qasim on the 10th of Muharram, which in turn made Imam Hussain grant Hazrat Qasim permission to go out into the battlefield.
Now, the thing is that there is less conflict about the 2nd part of the will but when it comes to the first part people say that it is a fabrication of the facts and no such words were truly there.
Another problem is that, it is said that Imam Hussain only had 2 daughters; i.e Lady Fatima Sughra( who was left in Madina due to her illness and was not present at Kerbala) and Princess Sakina a.k.a Sukaina (who was only 4 years old at the event of Kerbala and who passed away in Damascus(Shaam) and was burried there in the prison where the Ladies and Imam Zain ul Abideeen (peace be upon him) and the children of their house were imprisoned.)
Since both the daughters of the Imam could not possibly be given into marriage at that time, than the question is who got married? Narrators tell us that there was Lady Qubra daughter of Lady Rubab who was given into marriage to Qasim ibn Al Hasan.
But than narrators also tell us that Rubab had only 2 children Sakina and Ali Asghar.
In real Imam Hussain had seven children.

In real Imam Hussain had seven children.
Hazarat Hussain had his first born Ali bin Hussain commonly known as Zainul Abideen from his wife Sheharbanu, the daughter of last Persian/Iranian emporer Yazdegerd.
He had another son named Ali Akbar from Umme Lyla, daughter of Abi Murrah bin Urwah bin Mas’ud Al-Thaqafi.
He had four other children, Sakina called Fatimah Kubra, Fatimah Sughra, Ruqaiyyah known as Sakinah and Abdullah known as Ali Asghar from his wife Rubab, the chief’s daughter of Al-Qays tribe.
This knowledge is uncommon to most shia Muslims, but, once this is taken into consideration, many questions subside.
But the fact remains that it is unknown whether Qasim was married or not at Kerbala.

In reply of Question asked by one members about Sermons of Martyr Ayatullah Murtada Mutahhari called 'Ashura - Misrepresentations and Distortions, to which follower of Iblees using to create discord among the momineen.
Assalamu alaikum wr wb Different opinions about hisorical events should not make us confused. Many historians say that Hadhrat Qasim got married in Karbala as it is recited in Majlises, so, we do not take one scholar's statement for granted like Quran or Ma'sooms statements. Many books contain details of the tragedy of Karbala in cluding Bihar al Anwar by Majlisi, Maqtal Abi Makhnaf, Maqtal al-Khawarizmi, Al-Lohoof by Ibn Taawoos and many other books. We should not make such matters (like the marriage of Hadhrat Qasim) as an issue causing dispute among
Mo'mineen. We should focus on mourning the tragedy, getting its great aims and teaching ourselves and others the great lessons of self purification and justice. Even if one can prove that a certain incident did not happen in Karbala, we should always have the possibilty of other scholars reaching to a different result, so, we do not make it an issue of dispute, unless it carries an insult to our respected leaders and our high values of Islam."
beautiful!
